I was relaxing on my porch when I noticed a bright line of orange shimmering on the grass. Later, my attention was drawn to it, again. It was a brilliant orange feather with a contrasting deep black tip. The sun was shining through it in a way that made it noticeable. It was from one of my spirit guides, George, who had been my father in a past life. When asked what the message was, he provided reassurance about a new project I was embarking on. A couple of days later, a feather with the same color and length appeared on the grass. Hours later a third identical feather appeared, accompanied by a long gray and white striped feather and a short fluffy gray and white feather. All of the feathers matched the coloring of a Northern Flicker. I asked, Why so many? The reply was, abundance. What have your spirit guides and loved ones in spirit been trying to tell you?
